Applications of SPECTER for design and analysis of lens.

Analysis and evaluation of a lens system through the behavior of light inside the system and visualization of objects observed through the lenses. The powerful physics-based rendering reproduces not only focus/defocus effects but also unwanted influences the straylight (parasitic light) creates, which allows designers to intuitively and quickly evaluate the performance of the system using their sense of vision.
