Purpose To gain a uniform distribution of the output light

    A single LED attached to the corner of the light guide plate (LGP) illuminates the whole emitting area of the backlight unit.

    Microstructure elements are aligned to form concentric arcs. Orientation of each element can be different to control light propagation inside the LGP.
