Applications of SPECTER for design and analysis of backlight units.

Design and analysis of the whole backlight (or frontlight) unit and parts used to construct the backlight unit such as CCFL lamps, optical films and functional resins. In most cases, microstructure or a microlens array formed on surfaces of the light guide plate is a key component in the backlight system design because it takes an important role in control of luminance distribution.
